I literally just started the diet yesterday, so I feel bad for posting, but I hope someone can help. I am a female in my thirties 5'7' 155lbs, and I am really just wanting to get my appetite and food cravings under control.
I started using 1 tbsp canola oil twice per day (keep in mind, only since yesterday). I am so hungry that I am shaking, and I am hungry more frequently today then I have been in a long time. I'm not using sugar water b/c I'm hypoglycemic, and that would lead to more hunger. It feels as though my body is not even registering the oil as a caloric substance--the hunger continues straight through the drinking of the oil. When I eat, have eaten today, I am ravenous and hungry within an hour.
I hesitate to use any other form of oil because my body craves fats, and canola oil is not among the fats I crave. I am concerned that I am going to gain weight b/c my body feels like it is entering a period of starvation. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a length of time I should suffer through to before I just give up? Any advice would be welcome.
