Does anyone know why the book says to not eat anything within a one hour time frame from the flavorless oils but yet advice on the website seems to be a two hour window?
Also per the book the total number of flavorless calories to ingest correlate to the number of pounds you want to lose, not the starting weight as suggested on the forum. When did this change? And does it matter if you follow the book advice over the forum advice in terms of weight loss?
Since the rule is one hour before and after your SLD calories, it's a two hour window, so that's how it is often referred to on here. Also, I've never seen anything to suggest an amount of oil based on how much you want to lose, but rather based on your starting weight. For someone with only 10-20 lbs to lose, the oil amounts would be insignificant. So, base it on your starting weight. 120 cals/tbsp(15 mls) for oil and about 15 cals/tsp(5 mls) for sugar. So if you start the process at 200 lbs, you should be aiming for twice your weight in lbs as SLD calories - 400 cals. Three tbsp of oil would be 360 kcals, close enough.
