The best thing that has happened is that I no longer get SO hungry that I feel like I am starving and have to eat a cheeseburger right away or suffer a horrible death. Tha's what being hungry has felt like for the last three years. Now when I get hungry it feels a lot more normal and it never involves McDonalds. -- peazazz

Nasty Aftertaste After Eating
« on: May 16, 2011, 09:03:38 am »

As of today, I'm on week 4 of the diet and up to 4 TBS oil per day. I'm getting good AS, although I haven't lost any real weight yet. That's fine. I started working a 2nd job and have been eating crap (too much convenience food). Anyhow, no matter what I eat or drink (besides water) leaves a nasty aftertaste in my mouth that lasts for hours. Brushing my teeth doesn't help at all. Any suggestions? I chew gum, but have to stop to allow myself a 1 hr window before and after the oil. I can barely stand having the taste of whatever I've eaten and drank on my tongue. I know this is signs the diet is working, but I need some help. This is driving me crazy!

Maybe the residue that is causing the aftertaste is fat-soluble. If it is, eating some full fat yogurt and swirling it around in your mouth might help.
