Just posting to let you all know that a year later and my weight has stayed stable, within about 5 lbs of where I stopped with no real effort.  For me this really has been the magic bullet.

to lose 20 pounds (from about 140 to 120)
Dropped from size 8-10 to size 4
I'm 5' 4.5"

Are you still taking oil or sugar for maintenance?  How much do you take?
Mostly I have stopped.  I do take 100 cals of fish oil when I find myself stress eating or mindless eating or if I start feeling hungrier again and usually after a week or so I am fine with going off it again. Sometimes I do sugar water for a bit if I am having sweet cravings.

I did stop near the top, rather then near the bottom of the suggested weight range, so that might be why I have needed slightly less maintenance.

That's fantastic that you can maintain your weight without flavorless calories.  And that you only do SLD when you need a boost.  Thanks again for the inspiration.

The biggest shift in thinking has been paying attention to my food cravings rather then to the scale.
