Hi there,
I'm starting SLD today. Just had my first oil. Have done it before, but stopped because I really didn't feel like eating anymore. Now I'm back on the oil, because I really do need to loose a lot of weight.
Starting weight: 80 kg
Goal: under 60 kg
I don't believe I can loose the weight, but I do believe in SLD, so I WILL BE SLIM!

i just recently started, too. i did a little bit back in oct/nov and in worked so well for me that I attributed it to something else I was doing. i stopped for several months and cravings gradually began to return. I finally recognized SLD had been helping me a lot.
i started last week with the oil. now i am experimenting with the nose clipping. i was down 1/4 of a pound this morning and i think that maybe that might have something to do with the nose clipping for several days now. anyway, the main thing is to learn this AS and continue to practice. i don't know why i fight the oil so much, but you are right. it does work.
you can loose weight! i'm using a low carb way of eating, because i like how that makes me feel

Day two went pretty good. But I think I need a little more oil. I only had two spoons. I tried noseclipping too in the past, but I don't anymore. I've got two little boys, so I don't want to set a weird example. They don't notice the oil, but mommy eating with her nose clipped would be pretty hard to explain.

I bumped my oil up to 2 T today. I also decided I needed a little more. i have seen the rule of thumb is 2 times your weight in oil, but in the book I see he says up to 4T is ok.
I did mine first thing in the morning today and the AS has been great. 7pm ish is my munchy time and I do have that right now. I'm wondering if I take an additional T of oil if that will help get through the evening with a little less effort.??
