I am not sure what to think about this article. Curious to know what other people think.

The short and sweet of it is that she is very wrong.  I'm running a bit late, but I tried looking up some things for you:
http://high-fat-nutrition.blogspot.com/2009/09/palmitic-acid-based-food-vs-olive-oil.html

I know Peter (above) has addressed this but I'm not sure this is the right post or not, and he's so used to this stuff sometimes he's sarcastic to the point where it's hard to tell what he's saying- the key, of course, is that saturated fat is good.

Richard tends to go in for the kill.

And I think I just saw the answer here in Stephan's post.
Palmitic acid as a blood-glucose regulator from way back when people were in a glucose-rare environment rather than the modern reality of glucose on every streetcorner.

Our bodies know how to deal with saturated fat, but not the modern, processed concoctions folks rather irresponsibly call food nowadays.
