I never took measurements when I started, but I have been using the same belt. As I got smaller, I added more holes. According to the holes, I've lost at least 13 inches (33cm for the metric crowd). The tail of the belt now goes almost halfway around me.

First goal was to lose 80 pounds: Accomplished! I've lost 80.2 pounds. ;D

Of course, there may be a little up and down over the next week or so, but pretty soon I will have put that first goal behind me.

Yes. I've already adapted the ticker to reflect that my ultimate goal is losing 130 pounds (~59 kg) total. That would still put me above the recommended "ideal" range for someone my height and age, but it's good enough for me! :)

Wow - that's about one of me - one of me if I had reached my goal weight yet, that is. You're doing awesome! I'm still stuck at the same weight more or less, despite eating really little due to some perceived AS...but then I didn't excercise as I was sick. I'm sure the weight loss will start any day now ;-)

Thus it's always encouraging to hear of people for whom it works so great!
