UPDATE SINCE POSTING IN JAN. 2010 >> After two more weeks of adding needless and useless calories to my diet along with the frustration of not losing any weight, I abandoned the SLD. I was doing it for four months. This was actually one of the keys to my recent success. There is a but .... I credit SLD with giving me an appetite suppression tool. It occurs to me that I only needed that tool for a short time. I have been following two different exercise programs. We started at Xmas 2009. The first was the P90X program which was great but a little too advanced for me and my wife. We switched to Chalean Extreme which is also a 90 day program and the results are way beyond our expectations. My wife, Felicia has lost 20lbs. to my 15lbs. Both programs can be found at beachbody.com. I am not getting any commissions even though I would strongly recommend it to anyone, especially if you hate exercising like my wife. The P90X was also too demanding on our schedule, workouts ranged from 40 to 90 minutes. Chalean is much better at 30 to 45 minutes. Each morning we wake up, get the kids ready, I put them on the bus, 07h20. Then I meet Felicia in the basement, we work out, then go to work (shower first). My wife got me a "what not to wear" wardrobe makeover. We emptied 5 full garbage bags of clothing to Sally-Ann. Now we just have to lose those "last ten pounds." When people who I haven't seen in a while ask me what I'm doing, I tell them that I'm sleeping with my personal trainer, and SHE'S HOT! Bye-Bye for now see you in 10 pounds. Cheers, BWG.
