I do however, still eat more of the sweet stuff than is conducive to fat loss. What has happened in the last 5 days is that I find it no trouble whatsoever to abstain from eating these foods. I can walk past them in the supermarket without batting an eyelid. I also love to bake and I made salted caramel shortbread for my work colleagues this week and whereas previously I would have had 2 or 3 with my cup of tea, plus more the next day, I only had one on the first day and really didn't fancy it the next. I read about it, and want to get it but I'm in a financial crunch so I can't afford it!

How is it?  Do you have wii fit?  How do they compare?

I have the wii fit...and oh you can use your balance bored for the ea active...I find the ea active more of a challange and feels more like a set program..with the 30 day challange everything is already programed for me. it also has rest days programed in which is pretty cool.  Oh and word of advise start out on low intensity if you ever decide to purchess this program..low isn't so low =)

Yeah that's what I've heard.  Well after having done Wii Fit consistantly for about 4 or 5 months it started getting too easy and boring, so I stopped for a few months, but I started again and it feels like a workout again.

But maybe by Xmas I'll need a new program...Santa, if you read this...hint hint...

I have both wii fit and active. Wii fit is fun but it does not motivate me to exercise enough, but wii active does. I recently completed the 30 day challange and feel the effects especially on my thighs. There were times I worked out at 11.30 pm, after my guests for dinner leave, just not to fall behind the program and complete 20 workouts in 30 days. I strongly recommend if you want to have a nice fitness workout program you can follow at home. The only drawback of the program is not focusing on the core muscles. I do some ab exercises afterwards (if I don't forget to).
I heard that a new program will be released next november called "your shape". It does not require you to use any controls. The camera sees and detects your moves. It's an innovation!

Wow that sounds terrible!  I can just imagine the frustration that would be caused when my cat decides that me working out is his time to jump on me and try to snuggle (which always happens) and I get told I'm doing the workout incorrectly!

I will really have to ask for ea active then, it sounds great!

Well, I haven't been doing EA active routines for 1.5 months. I am doing my fitness coach instead. I had bought them at the same time but thought EA active was more exciting so I started doing it. After two 30 day challenges, I decided to switch to my fitness coach. It is more like a video DVD. Not interactive like EA active. But gives a more intense exercise. Cardio workouts really make me sweat and the moves are not interrupted by waiting for the computer to detect that I completed my move. Still, I can say that EA is more motivating. I recommend seeing the customer reviews at amazon.com before purchasing.
