I came across SLD last weekend on the Freakonomics site. I decided to try it and WOW. I have never known anything like the AS effect I get from 2 x 20ml canola oil (known as rapeseed oil in the UK). I've tried various prescription drugs and non-prescription supplements for AS in the past - nothing comes close to this. I can turn down junk food even when it's literally handed to me on a plate - for me that is HUGE. -- sld uk

How do you dissolve Xylitol in water?
« on: March 30, 2009, 06:30:11 am »

I've tried adding Xylitol to warm water and shaking, but it doesn't dissolve.  How do you dissolve Xylitol in water?  I'm using 10 TBSP for 200 FFC - does that sound right?

Answered my own question - if left overnight, the crystals will dissolve in water.  Bingo!

I'm not sure what brand of Xylitol you use but I recommend using Xyli-pure from whole foods. Its reasonably priced and dissolved pretty well in a cup of water.
