Crazy Spiced Soup

Crazy Spiced Soup

This one is pretty obvious.  It can make for colorful soups if you use ingredients such as yams and beets.  I have tried adding leftover meat but it always adds an unsatisfying chewiness.  Adding a little bit of cooked salmon, however, works fine.

4 random spice mixes
some cooked vegetables (beets, yams, carrots, etc., whatever you have)
and/or some cheese
and/or some leftover salmon
milk (about the same volume as the ingredients . . . a cup each is a good start)
some oil for the pan
large fry pan

To cook:
heat pan at about 3 on an 8 scale
add oil
add about 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon of each spice mix to the oil, even distribution over the pan surface
place all the ingredients in a blender / food-processor and blend until smooth
(add a bit more liquid if necessary)
pour into pan and heat
