Yay! I want to be marvelous, count me in!
I'm still :x fighting off the chest cough and congestion from my horrible fluy bug. But this last week my appetite returned with a bit of a vengeance. I had about a day and a half of monstering my way through all things edible. Yesterday I got a handle on it....I hope. Part of the issue was that while I had no appetite I was just eating whatever I wanted. I wanted very little, of course. But still, if I craved cheese, I had cheese; Rice-a-roni, that's what I had. I needed to get nutrition and calories. But when I suddenly got hungry again, I was still in that mode. And a slice of cheese turned into a quarter pound. A couple bites of a fried chicken biscuit was 2 whole sandwiches. Etc..... and GRRRRRRRRR!
I've also all but abandoned exercise. Just walking up stairs sets me into a coughing fit. It's getting better but not quite gone. I did start taking flat earth walks again on Friday. And I've been doing bits of yoga with and without the ball.
My high level goals:
*Get back on a solid exercise schedule; easing in more in terms of what I do so as not to cough my head off but doing something substantial daily
*Eat wholesome foods, whole ones mostly, lots of fruits and veggies, when hungry, not too much, often enough to keep the metabolic fires roaring
*Keep nutritious snacks (fruits, nuts, protein bars) with me at all times so that I do not give into whatever insane craving is triggered by ravenous "starveration"
I'll micro manage them later I'm sure.
Thanks, SQ, for consistently organizing us and keeping us on the right track.
