I just started SLD and I was doing some research on omega-3, because I take 2 tbsp. of flaxseed oil per day, and I found out that only 3 grams of omega-3 is recommended per day:"people who eat more than three grams of omega-3 fatty acids per day (equivalent to 3 servings of fish per day) may be at an increased risk for hemorrhagic stroke, a potentially fatal condition in which an artery in the brain leaks or ruptures. My dosage of 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil gets me about 250 calories, but about 12g of omega 3! (and about 3.5g of omega 6)
I haven't seen any alerts about this anywhere! Anyone have any recommendations??
