I was on vacation without a computer, came home and went to SLD forum; did not understand why nothing new was from Falconcy; now I see this thread and cannot believe it. I loved reading his thread.  :(

I received a personal message from Falconcy. We had become buddies. He is doing what he feels he needs to do, but I am hoping that he will realize how very much we all cared for him and that maybe in time we will come back. In the meantime, I wish him all good things. He was a tremendous addition to this forum.

Hmmmmmmmm. I think I understand Fal's predicament.
If he felt stalked, he had no choice but leave. Anything he wrote would be read by the other person. So if he doesn't want them to know a single bit of his life, he can't share anything publicly. That means with us too, unfortunately!  :( :( :(
Also, he might have felt embarrassed, even though he should know that no one has to right to judge (all the more having heard only one side of the story).

Whatever that other person was trying to achieve, the purpose was defeated, and now they lost probably the only way of knowing what happens in his life.

Anyway, I hope he lurks from time to time, in which case in a week or so I will send him a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  :D

I said I would be back, couldn't keep away. I was checking the forum every day to see what was going on.

If I'm being a bit more low key than normal, Pinkmug sussed it out pretty well, so bear with me.

Thanks for checking in, and I do understand, however posting a new and interesting recipe occasionally shouldn't cause harm.  My husband really enjoys your new food ideas, and many of them are so good.  Thanks for sharing so much, best of luck to you and your new future.

The stalking still goes on, so if I don't seem to be my usual self, you know why.

Hope it all ends soon.

I'm oblivious to the stalking, although I don't doubt it's occurrence.
Glad to see it's not keeping you totally away.

Welcome Back! You really belong here with all of us, people who care about you. Don't know what we can do to help, but there must be something that can be done!

What wonderful things have you been eating lately?

Thank's Pinkmug  :D

Took 3kg of local snack sized pies into work, they were soon demolished, even by normally finicky eaters. Then again, I do tend to know what people will eat so I did buy accordingly. There was something for everybody there.

Went out with a couple of friends last night, had a good laugh and caught up with their gossip. Tonight I will cook for myself. It has to be a treat, likely a Carpetbaggers Steak with Daupinois Potatoes, may even go the whole hog and buy some Häagen-Dazs ice cream to round it off. I have some red wine to wash it down.
