Where the heck do you live, Karky? How cool! Do you see any foxes?

Here is Mr. Fox

Here he is climbing the tree.  He was eating apples, too.
You can see the dark stripe of his tail.

I found out on google that only gray fox climb trees.  Red ones don't.  We have red ones around here, too.

WOW Karky!  lucky you!!  to have so much space!!!  my whole house is 22ft by 80ft and including back and front hrmmm 'gardens'  :?  we have 3 floors.  my mum and dad also live next door.  but it is an area of terraced houses and small blocks of flats (apartments)  so all the buildings touch at the sides.  so we can hear noises from next door.  we look out and see our neighbours .   :(
my dream house would be completely detached and sited so all i could see would be gardens!!!  but that has to remain a dream cos such properties cost much more than we could ever afford!
the only wildlife we have in our gardens are feral cats!! :)

I must admit
you can tell a native Michigander if you ask them where they are from and they hold up their hand to show  you.

I also must admit
it is snowing RIGHT NOW
and here it is almost April.  :x

I gaze upon your sunny geraniums with not just a little envy.
I am really tired of winter and freezing temeratures.

Of course in another 5 months I will be complaining about the heat/humidity.

You're before and during pics are wonderful to see. What a difference! Yeah, yeah, you're body has changed a lot, but mostly it's in your eyes. You look like a burden is being lifted (again, not the physical weight, per se).

Thanks for sharing.

when I was a kid, we went camping at a lake.  During the night, raccoons unscrewed the lid to the peanut butter jar and ate all the peanut butter we had.
Tracks were all over the picnic table.
apparently they do not have to dunk their food in water because of no saliva glands like they always used to say.

and some chewed a hole in my uncle's tent and his styrofoam cooler and ate all of their groceries.
Boy was he mad!!!!!

Thanks so much for saying that; it lifts my spirits to have someone else say so.  8)

Mr. Fox is beautiful! Thank you for the picture, I just love foxes. It is downright cold here in Chicago, too, and there is snow on the ground. We Chicagoans are used to you Michigan folks holding up your hands! We are close to the right side of your wrist, I would guess.

Just for Jasmyn,
here is a picture of a baby fox, taken not too far from here by one of my friends.
The fox den was in her yard.

This morning we had a blizzard.  I think the snowfall so far this year is over 90 inches (over 7-1/2 feet  )
North of here by about 100 miles they have about 140 inches total ( 11-1/2 feet)  So glad I am not there.
Luckily we had a thaw in the middle of winter, so some of it melted off.
Now it is raining.
I am putting in an order for sun right now!  8)

I just wanted to thank you for posting on my thread :)

I appreciate the input, and congrats on your losses!

We had about ten inches of snow overall this winter and I was going nutso! I couldn't imagine living in so much snow! I prefer my dreary Washington rain!

Not so much snow all at once, it melted in between times.  Mostly just over knee deep at one time.

Although when I was 10, my dad stood on a snow drift and shovelled off the roof of a 2 story house.
When he went to shovel off the barn roof, he had to shovel down to get to the roof.

No thanks.
