B - cooked turkey thigh (boneless, skinless) sliced and fried in coconut oil. Coffee with coconut milk. Homemade vegetable juice.
a.m. black coffee
L - about 3 oz leftover lake trout, leftover spinach salad, rest of the vegetable juice, banana, tea
p.m. tea, 6 grapes (scoffed from work), a few pieces of the turkey thigh after work
S - 2 thighs of coconut curry chicken, cucumber salad with home-made Asian dressing, water
eve - tea, 6 fresh strawberries
PaleoTrack says 1210 cals, 40% prot, 41% fat. I feel great.
Sanchiza, I am still weighing myself, too. I enjoy the tracking, especially the first few days. I will consider putting the scale away soon, but for now, I don't consider that a cheat. I don't live or die by those numbers, but I find knowing them helps me. I'm down 3.5 lbs from my start weight, although that was an extreme bloated weight, about 3 lbs above my recent (hate it!) normal.
So cool that your mom is doing this, too. How long has she done this for, and how is she doing? Does she eat meat?
Listen, years ago, I posted a Curried Fish Chowder recipe here in the forum, in the recipe section. It's easily modified to a legal Whole30 version by substituting another oil/fat for the butter (coconut oil would be awesome, I think), and omitting the tsp of sugar. You might find it an easier way to get some fish in. Here's the link:
