Well I may have, knock on wood, turned the corner on this post-smoking cessation weight gain. I got all the way up to 298 lbs.! Talk about depressing. I finally said, I'm gonna do South Beach Diet and Canola Oil to try and jump start this back in the right direction after reading a post in one of the forums. So the other morning I had a weight of 286 lbs...today 288 lbs. The latter seems more accurate. So hopefully, this tren will continue and I can get down to where I was.....and further.

Ironically, I started this whole process 11 months ago at 300 lbs. Now after  almost getting back to that weight I begin anew. Except this time I'm not smoking anymore.

By the by, I had some cardiac :lol: issues that I may or may not have posted here that have been an issue for two years. After getting a second opinion, I have been given a relatively clean bill of health with the exception of some relatively minor issues (Some PVC's etc...). Whew! What a relief! No heart surgery. Yeeeha!!!!

Next month will be my one year anniversary of SLD and my ten year anniversary of not smoking. Man, I wish I'd done that the other way around
