I'm one of the lucky ones who helps choose new books for our library. When I saw the words "Shangri-La and Diet" in the same title, I thought it would be hoot to read (and of course, I was thinking of our loyal patrons too!) I'm the first of our staff (mostly peri-menopausal ladies) to try the diet.
Its been 3 weeks, and I'm experiencing all sorts of goodies: serene, uninterrupted sleep, Incredible Shrinking Body Parts, and finally, finally, appetite suppression. No pounds lost yet, but not surprising - I'm paying an extended visit to PMS-ville...this too shall pass.
I look at the book (Thank you Seth) as a framework of sorts - a foundation to build on...but the support to create this healthier life - it's all here. Thanks to all of you!
