ingesting oil is not a yo-yo diet
« on: May 20, 2006, 01:58:05 pm »

I've read a lot of posts that state concern over this being a yo-yo diet.  First off - this isn't really a diet.....it's a way to control your appetite and modify your eating behaviors.   The benefits of taking oil go far beyond weight loss, your major organs, hair, nails, skin, colon.....you name it, are all going to benefit from taking oil.  I think if you get away from the idea that this is a diet, you can break the psychological chains of yo-yo dieting and failure.  Any thoughts?

Yes that's how I'm trying to look at it. Only been at it two weeks and the weight is maybe down two or three lbs.....but I'm sure I've lost at least an inch of my waist. I have 20-30 lbs.to lose (the same ones I've lost 100 times before)  and the urge to speed up this process by intentionally counting calories, and or restricting choices, is very intense. Mentally I think it's about bloody time to get off this overcrowded diet wagon. I think that any type of conscious restriction could cause a failure in the end., so I'm going to try and be patient and listen to the needs of my body, instead of dieting.
