please please please let the weight be DOWN!!

Although I certainly hope it goes down, don't be too discouraged if it doesn't, Nougat.  I've been on a plateau for awhile now (no change in the scale) but I still went down a pant size during that time.  Good luck on your weigh in!   :)

Smile on, nougat!  :D Do some cartwheels! When I get into the 160's I won't be able to stop smiling, either. When I reach goal, I think the SLD grin will be permanently fixed on my face.

When I reach goal, nougat, I'll have to try  a cartwheel.  :D By that time, at 135 lbs, I should be in good enough shape and light enough. I'm 56 years old...weight is at 170 lbs. Goal should be reached sometime when I'm 57. I was hoping it would happen by my birthday in mid-November. I'd need to lose 1.5 lbs per week starting today, with no further plateaus in-between. It's possible. I'm working out, eating nutritiously, drinking fluids (CFF, too), restricting calories, upped my oil to 3 daily Tablespoons, and added a dance class last week. Maybe I'll go back to doing the Johnson UpDayDownDay diet which I went off for awhile. Maybe I'll even stand on my head when I get to 165 lbs. I'll work on my back muscle stretches and strength, and maybe do a backbend, too, by 150 lbs.

Well, I'm not so flexible...yet!! My back is pretty stiff after it seemed a muscle in my hip, butt, got "cricked" during a gyn outpatient surgery a couple weeks ago. Knocked out, feet in stirrups. I know the angle of the knees must have cramped and pulled it. But I figure the gym workouts and walking give strength and endurance, and the good stretching exercise at the dance class (belly dance) should limber me up over time. The fitness and flexibility through those avenues, like fat-shedding through SLD and good nutrition, must improve and make for a renewed body. I used to stand on my head, do cartwheels and backbends into my late 20's. I should not have stopped doing them  Maybe I'll be able to do all that again this time next year. I plan on it

It could be water retention, are you getting enough water? Especially at this time of year. I'm talking water here and not other fluids, pepsi doesn't count ;-)

Falconcy it is mostly  water i drink....soft drinks just occasionally.  no beer - wine - alcohol  :shock:aren't i boring!!

Vronnie i've stopped the oil cos it was not good for me.  i miss the soft skin but i could not take the bad effects.  i'm doing cff instead.

well i guess i'll feel better when my tom is over but this last week i've felt quite low...
