After a lifetime of not weighing what I wanted, the idea that I can choose my weight is a stupendous dream for my mind to grasp. All along I've been hopeful, but not daring to believe in it, until it becomes real and lasting.  But now I live with feeling happiness with my body, and that feeling is a priceless gift. -- Heidi 555

I think I might have hit my peak weight after quitting smoking. I upped my Canola Oil to 2 tbsp 10am, and 3 pm, chased by 1 tbsp of granulated fructose in water. This HAS knocked down my appetite. FINALLY. I also am taking 2 tbsp at night occasionally. Let's see if all this experimentation finally gets me back to where I was.

I was down to 291 then bounce right back up to 296. This morning I was 293.
This is insane. I finally broke down and bought Calorie King and am charting/recording everything that goes in my mouth. It has been interesting to say the least. For one, I am on track to easily exceed 2000 calories today as I am just past my afternoon Oil/Fructose combo and have 635 calories left for the day. We'll see. but if I add my night oil, that only leaves me about 350 calories for dinner. OUCH! Or should I say bleak.

Is 2000 calories a reasonable goal or should I go with more?

Meanwhile my appetite seems to have adjusted to my new concoction of canola oil followed by granulated fructose/water.
Frustrated would be an understatement.

my weight has been known to jump 5 lbs overnight for no reason, then go down 7 and go up 3. it is strange since I did not eat more or less, yet it jumps. I only count it when it finally falls one pound less than ever before.  :(

Yes, me too. "New lows" are the only significant data point. Everything else is noise and jitter.
