Friday I was so productive on SO LITTLE food (like zero during the day, just two oil shots), my husband came home and asked if I had a secret meth lab in the backyard. -- Julie

Wow Clarinette 2.4 lbs this week!  Fantastic result - I'm really happy for you.  I'll let you know how I go on the lemon water - hope it works as well for me!  Just something that has crossed my mind.... because lemon is acidic, it might be wise to drink it with a straw or have a sip of plain water after to get the acid off your teeth.  I know sports drinks can errode tooth enamel because they are acidic, lemon would be the same.  Other than that, I'm excited about the lemon because it's natural and good for you, like ELOO.

Exactly, and like Eloo, there's no real negative, except for the tooth bit.  I'm pretty conscious about that, would hate to have to put them in a glass each night!

Magpie,
Do you think that the juice of 1/2 of LEMON in about 700 ML would brake the enamal of the teeth?

Baking soda neutralizes the acid in lemon, lime and vinegar. If you don't mind using it, you could use baking soda to brush your teeth, or you could add some baking soda to the lemon juice:

I brush my teeth, usually, with baking soda and a bit of coconut oil. It makes the breath fresh, and the teeth shinier white. I drink lemon-water and raw apple cider vinegar toddies, and it's a good idea to swish the mouth with plain water, I think, if you drink a lot of these kinds of beverages. I'd think the baking soda tooth-brushing would help, too.

I just think as a precaution, I'll sip mine with a straw so that it doesn't hit my teeth, or swish and swallow plain water after or make sure there's lots of saliva in my mouth afterward.  That's the sort of thing dentists recommend with sports drinks anyway.

....and, I wouldn't worry about it during meals, as the food will help take the acid off your teeth.  I wouldn't worry if you were only drinking lemon water occasionally, but if it's an everyday thing, then it's worth being cautious.

Yes, you are right. Right now I am going to try to do the Calories-Less Flavors with different brevage-drink and change it everyday. Just for fun and to see if it will work. One day, tea...the other diet coke, the other black coffee etc... I will see what will happen  8)

I am back down to the 218's and I am waiting for TOM. Don't know if it will be late but usually it is not.

Just with my lemon Water during and between my meals I am not hungry. I eat at meal time but very little. I don't crave anything other than a good fruit once in a while. I am feeling great. It is good to be back on track. Great whoohoooo!

Yesterday, I tried some Realemon in bottle... It was too strong for me as a AS I can't do it and I have the same effect with Diet Fresca or Diet Coke... It is too strong for me...
Lemon water is fine but it is not very strong. I would be able to do it all the time I think.
For Breakfast, I tried Apple Cider Vinegar Water. 1 1/2 Table spoon in 700 Ml Water. Now I am sitting here and starting to feel a little effect as for the Realemon Water... I already feel it in my head and I don't think that I will finish the water.... I hate that feeling... I think that I will come back to my lemon water  :?  It is funny. I can drink Apple Cider Vinegar but it seems that doing it during and between the meals is the key that make it strong.... Hummmm!

Clarinette, I'm using a lot less ACV, maybe a teaspoon to 16 oz water.  I'm just dribbling it in until I notice the vinegar taste as distinctive but not enough to be unpleasant.  That's all it takes, during and between.  Before this, I took 1T ACV (in water) with carby meals, and it made me feel mildly fuller.

Either I managed to get enough of all between-meal flavors I used yesterday, or the flavors combine.   I sipped coffee and ACV, and chewed peppermint gum all day, lots of noncalorie flavor between meals.  During or immediately after meals, any one of those flavors made me feel very full.

You were right, even with my lingering flavor problems, the window was unnecessary. Cool.

Yes, that it is really cool.
I think also that for someone that have a real problem with AS, it would be stronger to respect the window of 2 hours. I can even do it myself in the window because it gets too strong. So the Apple Cider vinegar taste would be intensified by the window of two hours. I think that the effect would be stronger but... it would be important to really taste the drink. I realized also that the produce that contains sulphites (which is not healthy) make the AS stronger.. but again... I am just studying it.

For the people that would be interested to know how I am doing the Lemon Water things as Trina Proposed to do it,
This is a copy of my explanation done for Marianna...

The drink has to be a strong flavour with no calories in it as:  Lemon Water,Lime, Apple cider Vinegar, Black Coffee, Black Tea, Diet Coke, Diet Pop, Diet Gum etc. Me and Talking Rat think also that Acidic drink seem to work better. More you taste it better it is I would say.

This is What I Do:

1- I totally forget about the window of 2 hours.... I don't do it anymore.

2- I Wake-Up in the morning....Take a coffee with my milk as I like it.
One hour after I am done with my coffees...Breakfast time.
There goes my SLD Association
I am taking one or two sip of my Lemon Water and then start to eat while keeping sipping some Lemon Water during my meal. After Breakfast, I keep sipping on my lemon water all morning and don't worry about it... If I get hungry, I take more Lemon water till lunch time.

3- Lunch time... Before starting I take one or two sip of Lemon Water and then start to eat While keeping sipping some Lemon Water. After the lunch is done I keep sipping on my lemon Water till diner time.... etc.

After diner, I still will sip on The Lemon Water till night time.

4- When I get hungry I sip more on my Lemon Water... lol

Stupid, Simple but it works very well to give me AS. It is just a little different as feeling but it work. If I get too full I reduce the in between Lemon Water.
