Day 3- 2 1/2 lbs. down
« on: May 18, 2006, 09:14:05 AM »

Hello everyone, don't know if this is too good to be true, but today is day 3 and I'm down 2 1/2 lbs. I'm very skeptical as a result of 20 yrs. of yo-yo dieting. I am 44, 261 3/4 lbs. now. I would hesitate to tell people what I am doing, since it sounds so nutty. My appetite has been decreased, but more importantly, I'm not constantly thinking about food. How wonderful to live life just like 'normal' people!!!! Anyway, like I said I'm still skeptical, though optimistic. On the scale this morning, as soon as I saw the # I was surprised to say the least. I got off the scale, washed my face, and decided to try the scale again, just in case all the weight molecules hadn't had a chance to get on the scale the 1st time with me. Seriously, I was expecting the # to be higher the 2nd time I stepped on the scale. How awesome would it be if this is the final answer for so many of us?

Yeah, what great results right off the bat!

How awesome would it be if this is the final answer for so many of us?

And yes, too true!

That totally cracked me up.

I agree, it's hard to believe someone may have solved this.  I did since the first day, but I keep thinking someone is going to pull the rug out from under me... just that weird feeling that it's too good, too simple, to be true.

I got off the scale, washed my face, and decided to try the scale again, just in case all the weight molecules hadn't had a chance to get on the scale the 1st time with me.

I'm so glad to hear that somebody else does that.  It's usually to see if some of the weight molecules went on break, however, and the number goes down...

Congratulations on a great start!
