I have tried SLD for a week, and for the first time in about 15 years i am not hungry at the end of the day.  What a gift! -- kathy

I never have a problem with the taste (and I use flax seed oil, which has more of a flavor). I just add water, hold my nose finger-style and drink it. I hold my nose for a few seconds longer while I drink more water to make sure there's no taste left, and that's it. No taste.
I started to nose clip when I have my ELOO at bedtime and it works like a charm. I will have to try something else to do noseclipping for.  Any suggestions?

I take my oil straight up, from a measuring spoon.  I don't find it particular gross, although it's not a sensual delight, either.  There is, at least for me, an up side to Greasy Lips Syndrome: I haven't had to use my lip balm once in the two weeks that I've been doing this.   :P

My lips have never been as healthy as they have been since I started with SLD and Oil Pulling! Just one more benefit of olive oil! I drink my oil in a glass of water and it works well for me. Glad you are with us!

i was actually a bit worried about the greasy lips - see, my lips are weird in that once i start using lip balm, they seem to get dryer than they were before...and the more i use it, the more i need, and the dryer they become

even using something as simple as vaseline

they aren't any less dry (yet) but they also aren't any more dry, so i'm doing okay i guess

Have to agree with this.  It's an extremely DRY winter in Chicago and since I've been on ELOO, my lips are moist and soft.  Not sure what my thoughts will be in July or August.

Do not use vaseline on your lips!!! It is a petroleum by-product and despite the apparent hydrating effect it actually dehydrates the skin.
