165.8 today.  look at what regular scheduled dosing does!  if i feeling like i'm losing AS or i've skipped doses and feel hungrier than usual, then i take 4 T in a day.  that brings back strong AS and i drop down to 3 T.  that's only happened once in the past week so i'm ok with going up to 4 T to bring back AS.  otherwise same old, same old.

so far no problems with holiday snacks.  i indulge in a bite or two if something appeals but that is about it.  all of the cheap nasty crap i used to eat sounds gross.  DH wanted me to go to a little afternoon work party featuring a chocolate fountain.  i told him it didn't sound good at all.

Congrats on the return to schedules and regaining battleground on those 2 lbs, and especially for the victory in clothes!   Isn't it funny how easy the holidays have become.  I don't know though, if it's a dark chocolate fountain, I'd be tempted.

Really? Dark chocolate does sound good but...I bet one bite would be enough. This is the first time in my life that I get annoyed if there isn't anything natural and wholesome to eat wherever we go when we are going out to eat or party. I saw the coolest picture of a huge plate of broccoli on a rectangular platter made to look like a Christmas tree decorated with radishes and star fruits and I can't remember what else but I want to make that for Christmas Eve munchies. We always have a huge spread of high carb goodies and that just doesn't sound very good to me at this point in time. I am all for organic, natural and nutritious. Boring to my kids I am sure but some day they will look back and know mom was cool!
Have a great weekend! ELOO or bust!!

just checking in from vacation.  we are about a week in and i've been taking oil sporadically.  didn't take any yesterday or the day before and right now i'm waiting for my one hour to be up so i can glug 3 T.

even taking it sporadically is working here and i can't figure out why.  i would get more hungry with regularity at home if i skipped doses.  but here i don't and i still fill up fast.  i can theorize and say its the change in routine and/or weather that is affecting me.  but i'll take it whatever it is!

as well--i don't have good tools while traveling to measure my progress--i even left my luggage at home (long story) so i don't have my regular clothes to go by.  i'll be more than satisfied if i return home having maintained or just gained a few lbs.

i'm kicking my diet pepsi habit cold turkey which is strange.  i usually NEED the stuff when dealing with a vacation like this.

another cool thing: i bought the OXO slanted measuring cup for tea-- and tablespoons.  i love that thing.  the only thing that would make it better is a lid. ;)

happy new year everyone!

Happy New Year!  Traveling is always a big question mark, and I'm glad SLD is still working for you!  It sounds like you are making the very best of things.  Great excuse to get new clothes.

Hope the rest of your vacation goes smoothly!
