I'm on day 5. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS WORKS!!!! I told my sister about it and while she scoffed at first she's on Day 2 and as ecstatic as I am. My appetite is a fraction of what it used to be and I no longer have trouble drinking the oil (in fact, I look forward to it because I know what it's going to do for me).  I'm totally confident that I'm going to be able to lose the 20 lbs of baby weight.  I'm telling you, I could cry. -- Katy

Gutsy's progress
« on: August 16, 2006, 02:33:41 am »

Hi all

Thought I will start posting to keep committed. I am a female length 5'6 and starting weight 151. My target weight is 138 and then I will decide if I need to loose more, but I think that should be fine for my age (almost 43). At first I was a bit weary of the idea of drinking oil, but then I remembered that the detox diet that I used once very successfully also advised you to drink 1-2 T of EVOO a day. Granted that is EVOO, but I thought that if EVOO is so good for you, then ELOO should also be good for you.  Started on 08 August and by 12 Aug, I was weighing 150. I am still at that weight, but that is just great, since I do not have that much to loose, I am happy with the progress.

If you've been following along, then you know it's harder when you don't have much to lose. On the other hand, this is a pretty easy routine, no?

Good luck.

Thanx Frenata

Will keep that in mind. Oops did I spell lose wrong, sorry English is not my native language.

Ha! I didn't even notice. That's such a common mistake among native English-speakers that there's actually a thread here titled, "The difference between LOOSE and LOSE."

Stick with us, and you'll learn all the English words for bowels and menstruation. Just think how useful that will be!  :)

I am lookig forward to learn lots of interesting new words and losing weight. The appetite supressing is amazing! I just love the fact that I am not a slave of sugar anymore, I have such a sweet tooth and it is amazing for me to be able to say "No thank you" to sweet temptations.

By the way, I am down another 1kg(+- 2 lbs) this morning. I will wait for another 3 day or so before I get too exited about it, just to make sure it is not just water weight, but I think it might be for real, because my clothes are feeling loose this morning. (could all be in the mind though).

Anyway, I am still delighted !

Congratulations!  You're off to a great start.  You've hit on the major issue for me too!  I think I could have my sweet tooth pulled out and it would grow back!   But you're right, with SLD now it's easy to say no thanks.   Good luck & welcome  -  BarbH
